| Abstract | In this article we try to generate interactive accompaniment from the trained model for a Jazz pianist. The solo and accompaniment corpus we process is in MIDI format, which is pre-generated by a human pianist, so that it is easy to extract the pitch and duration information of the solo sequence and the accompaniment events. Neural network is then applied, and let the computer find the feature with the training corpus. It seems to have quite good performance under evaluation of jazz experts. |
